There is nothing better than getting on a ride at the crack of dawn to start your day. I like to ride at 6am start and get in about a 90 minute ride before work. Yeah, rolling out of bed can be a beast of a task but once you are on your bike it’s worth it.  Preparing for the ride is key-I have to get all my gear (bike, clothes, bottles) all by the front door the night before.  All I want to do is roll out of bed and hop on the bike. It is amazing how crisp the air is most mornings, even in the dead of summer.

It is a little tricky this time of year trying to juggle lights and battery charge time.  Starting to get a more light around 6:10am. It is amazing at the longest day we will get daylight at 5:50am.  I am amazed at the groups that I can find around town that do get out for a pre-office ride.
